Welcome to a brave new world…

Well, here we are.  We made it through another year of learning, loving and growing.  Many of us have seen huge changes in the industry, shifts in the norm, complete breakdowns in the system, but we persevere and we continue on.

Image result for 2017This year, we continue on our path to learning and growing.  Of supporting one another, of not picking sides, of knowing where we stand in the scheme of things.  This year, we conquer.  This year will be a winner.

And…. welcome Summer!

poolI think we skipped Spring there a bit.  We went from snow to rain, to snow, to desert heat.  Not sure it’s good for everyone’s constitution, but we all do look forward to being outdoors.  June’s meeting was full of creativity and as always with our bunch, laughter.  It’s what keeps us young and lively!

July is our sabattical month, but members are eager to continue on the road to writing and so we are gathering at one members home for a brainstorming pool party.  If you are a member, check the loop for additional information.  Party will be on July 9th at 10am until… whenever.

If you aren’t a member… why not?!

Welcome to Spring!

springThe snow is finally gone and we’re all looking forward to getting back outside and getting some fresh air.  This is also a great time to refresh your creativity and what better way than to meet up with your writing sisters?  Our next meeting is Saturday, May 14th at the Palmer library.  Meeting begins at 10am.  We look forward to seeing you all there.

A whole new world…

20162016 brings many changes for PJWWG, namely our venture into the unknown.  As an untethered group, we are now challenged with finding a new path and making new rules.  We know where we want to go, it’s the getting there that will be the adventure.

As a tight knit group, this doesn’t seem detrimental.  Not at all.  This seems fun and creative and that’s exactly where we want to be.

Welcome to a new world order, ladies!  Pens in hand, butts in seat!  Let’s go!

A long time coming…

To quote C.S. Lewis, “It may be hard for an egg to turn into a bird: it would be a jolly sight harder for it to learn to fly while remaining an egg. We are like eggs at present. And you cannot go on indefinitely being just an ordinary, decent egg. We must be hatched or go bad.”

We have come to a wonderful precipice, it seems, and as we hatch and grow we too shall fly.

I want to thank all the ladies of PJWWG for your tireless efforts and endless support.  We wouldn’t have gotten this far without one another.

Welcome to a brand new world and enjoy, you’ve earned it!
